A New Chapter for Belize’s Real Estate Industry — Welcome to BREA

On behalf of the leadership of the Association of Real Estate Brokers of Belize (AREBB) and the Belize National Association of Realtors (BNAR), we are pleased to share an exciting milestone in the history of Belize’s real estate profession.

After years of collaboration and a shared commitment to strengthening our industry, the merger between AREBB and BNAR has now been finalized. Together, we are moving forward as the Belize Real Estate Association (BREA) — a unified national association dedicated to representing, supporting, and advancing real estate professionals throughout Belize.

This is more than the merger of two organizations. It is the coming together of professionals who share a common vision for the future of our industry. Our goal is to build an association that delivers meaningful value to its members through advocacy, professional development, education, ethical leadership, and stronger representation at the national level. We want every member to feel that BREA is their association — one where every voice is valued and every member has the opportunity to contribute to the profession’s continued growth.

What’s Ahead

  • Establishing BREA’s operational and governance framework
  • Launching our new brand, website, and communication platforms
  • Finalizing membership categories, benefits, and pricing
  • Engaging members through networking events and educational opportunities across the country
  • Building strategic partnerships that strengthen the profession
  • Continuing our advocacy efforts toward the passage of the Real Estate Bill
  • Preparing for BREA’s inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for November 2026, where members will elect the Association’s first Board of Directors

To guide this transition, a Working Committee — co-chaired by Michael Singh, President of AREBB, and Guy Neal, President of BNAR — has been established to oversee the integration of the two associations and prepare BREA for its next chapter.

Together, we have an opportunity to create a stronger, more respected, and more influential voice for Belize’s real estate profession.
